Can I rent Prelude for my private event?

Possibly! Info to know:

To reserve the store after hours (Tues/Wed/Thu, 6-8pm), the price is $75/hour for staffing and cleaning. Food and drinks are allowed; there is no kitchen or prep space to accommodate cooking onsite.

Prelude has folding tables, chairs, and a private rest room available. Depending on the event, we can accommodate up to 50 standing people.

I'm a local, self-published author. Can you carry my book?

Congratulations on the publication of your book! We know it takes work and heart to finish a manuscript, and you want to get it into as many hands as possible. We love to support our local community! We offer a table rental on Sunday afternoons for $25/hour for you to bring your own stock and sign copies in-store; please email info@preludebookstore.com to inquire about free dates. Include info about your book, including title, pricing, and genre. We’ll get back to you!

We will be as accommodating as possible, but have limited staffing, hours, and space. Be patient with us. Thanks!
